It is the largest colony of burrowing parrots in the world, whose nests are cavities in the cliffs. The parrots nest in the gullies that face the sea and that start right next to the town and continue for many kilometers. The nests extend for the first 12km approximately.
It is located on the beaches of El Condor, near Viedma, the provincial capital.
