The Pre-Delta National Park is a protected natural area of Argentina in the province of Entre Ríos, six kilometers south of the city of Diamante.
The town of Diamante is communicated with the city of Paraná -located 44 km away- by provincial route No. 11. From Diamante there is a six-kilometer-long dirt road, which gives access to La Jaula and La Azotea. , which are located in the vicinity of the park.
The pre-delta is the beginning of a group of islands formed by the sediments carried by the Paraná River and its tributaries. The delta of the Paraná River originates there and flows into the Río de la Plata, develops over 300 km in length and reaches a width of up to 40 km, its total area is approximately 1.200.000 ha.
