The calm it conveys is a contradiction to what its name suggests. Today we travel to Balcarce to show you one of its natural beauties: Laguna Brava, a 430-hectare water mirror.
The La Brava lagoon or Brava lagoon is located in the Balcarce district, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, at km 40 of national route 226, 420 km from Buenos Aires and 40 from Mar del Plata.
It consists of a lagoon of 430 ha, with a depth of between 3 and 7 meters, 2 kidney-shaped and arranged in a northwest-southeast direction. On its west bank it is accompanied by the Sierra Brava, forming a special landscape compared to the Argentine Patagonia.
