Salinas Grandes is the name of a salt flat in the Argentine province of Jujuy located in northwestern Argentina.
Distant 66 km from Purmamarca and accessed through National Route 52, they extend over an area of 212 km² in the Jujuy department of Cochinoca, with the center of the salt flat near coordinates 23°38’S 66°05’W, at an average altitude of 3450 meters above sea level.
