We are celebrating Flag Day, the symbol of our country which it represents and honors with its colors. A place you can visit and learn all about this patriotic symbol is the Flag Monument in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, erected in the same place where General Manuel Belgrano hoisted the National Flag for the first time.

The National Historic Monument to the Flag is a symbolic construction of the city of Rosario, in the Argentine Republic. It is located in the National Park a la Bandera, in the place where General Manuel Belgrano raised the Flag of Argentina for the first time, on the banks of the Paraná River.

It has a 70 m high tower with a viewpoint at the top, a crypt in homage to General Manuel Belgrano, a Civic Courtyard and the Propylaea, and a cinerary urn to the Unknown Soldier (from the battle of San Lorenzo). In the basement of the propyla is the Hall of Honor of the Flags of America.
