Villa de Merlo is a city in the province of San Luis, in central Argentina. It is located at the foot of the Comechingones mountains. In the center of the city is the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, built in the 18th century with adobe. The Museo del Poeta Antonio Esteban Agüero is located in the poet's former home and documents his life and work. A road to the east of the city climbs to the Mirador del Sol, with panoramic views of the mountains.
